Your ‘y’arden areas are so overflowing with a bounty of beautiful plants…even though you’ve had a lack of rain your plants are thriving! (We just were given another inch). What a wonderfully warm-colored chrysanthemum.
I would LOVE an inch of rain!! Still noting in our long range forecast although I know areas not that far south (and east and north and west) are getting rain…
I just placed it there a few weeks ago and already it’s one of my favourite garden perches…me, the birds and the bees, plus the occasional mosquito, even at this time of year !
If I sat on that bench, I’d spend all my time looking at those red flowers. They look like the mums for sale at our grocery store, but they’re all purple and yellow and not nearly so arresting as these are!
This one really spoke to me when I saw it, amongst the hundreds (well, maybe dozens…) of others…small flowers, but so tightly massed…and the red echoes quite accurately the colour of some of the fall foliage now showing, especially on Sumac and Dogwood…
(Hmmmm… wrote a comment, yesterday…don’t see it) A wonderful place to sit and enjoy all that’s thriving in your ‘y’arden…even with little rain. Chrysanthemum is such a stunning, warm, color.
Luscious mum!

I always stand and ponder the Mum display at grocery stores…which colour should I pick this year? Which one do I love the most? It’s a hard decision!!
