The birch tree’s as appealing to me as the fungi, but the combination is perfect. Black and white does work well here; I think it helps to emphasize the contrast in forms. LikeLiked by 1 person
That’s what I was hoping. Sadly, the birch is dead – birch borer I’m guessing – which is perhaps why the fungi look so at home advancing up the trunk. LikeLiked by 1 person
