I love this! I saw my first ‘artificial’ pumpkin patch yesterday; it was clearly a fund-raiser for the local church that had covered their property with pumpkins. But for sheer visual appeal, this is the best.
It’s a great sight, eh? One of the small towns in the County here had its annual Pumpkinfest yesterday – parades and food and pumpkins everywhere! This field is just outside of that town…literally….go down a street, houses on either side…houses stop, pumpkin field!

I wonder what ‘aliens’ would think, if they landed there? Do they cut the pumpkins off & haul the plants away?

The vines have all died off…I suspect these will go to a pumpkin canning place somewhere, although some may wind up in local roadside farmer’s stands…
