I found exactly one orange daylily in an east Texas ditch last year. It looked like this, with lots of ruffly petals. I’ve never been especially fond of orange and yellow day lilies, but that one got my attention! On the other hand, yours don’t look as scraggly as the ones I grew up with!
There’s a type of orange daylily that looks like these except it’s a double and blooms later than most. Very prolific, spreads even faster than these if happily situated.

Anything named Lily, must be gorgeous! Spreading the abundance.

This is the “tough guy”. It stands in full sun. It endures drought. It is self sufficient. It is beautiful. What more can you ask?
