I just learned that ‘snowflakes’ and ‘snowdrops’ are different genera, and your little pretty is a snowdrop. I found this out after admiring your flower and thinking, “But wait… The few I’ve seen around here have little green spots on the outside of those pretty petals.” So, I’ve come across snowflakes.
I also read that snowdrop generally blooms before the spring equinox, so yours clearly consulted its calendar!
