A very few times I’ve found the same sort of eager bloom on a couple of our species, especially blue stars (Amsonia spp.). I love the way events like this highlight the structure of the individual flowers; the image is as visually pleasing as an entirely blooming plant.
It really does allow you to focus on that individual flower eh? And how interesting it is all by itself…no need for the hundred additional flowers to come!
