The garden has been SO BUSY for the past two weeks. All the local honey bees, wasps, hornets, other bees and butterflies seem to have found the goldenrod and sedum that have been in full bloom. Asters have just started so there will be pollen and nectar for a few more weeks. (Still not enough rain, unfortunately…) I’m joining Jim at Garden Ruminations this week with six wingy photos. Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Happy pollinators! 🐝🌻

All your photos are excellent! I took photos of Bumbles on Goldenrod this morning, too…they’re very busy! Alas, no Butterflies. Still have a Hummy here…saw 3 a few days ago.

I’m really quite taken with the photo of the wasp. I’d never thought of them as pollinators, but of course they are, and they have cute faces, too!

Gee, insects are not often so cooperative for photography.

Love to see the pollinators. My garlic chives have been popular too, mostly flies but a very tattered cabbage white butterfly today.

I have many cabbage whites..unfortunately they find my Brussels sprouts quite alluring!

Thanks Rosie…I’m always worried, in July, when I don’t see butterflies or bees…but by the end of August and into September…there they are!

Lovely subject for SOS! Also lovely to see so many pollinators in your garden, I’ve not seen so many here due to all our rain lately, but hopefully they are still about.
