Hahaha, love the title! Nice one.
😁😁😁
‘Perfection’ is highly over-rated.
Really? I’ve been entranced by the colour gradients on the petals…
Oh! I was making a bit of a sideways comment about people who couldn’t appreciate the color gradients and such because of the “imperfection” in the petal.
I was wondering….and a bit slow! I blame it on the heat 🙂
I wonder who did that? We have leaf-cutter bees here, but they go for leaves, not petals.
I suspect an insect of some sort – earwigs have had a population explosion this year and I’ve seen them hiding within unfolding dahlia petals 🙁
Earwigs were a nuisance here with some flowers and herbs in early summer too, but have now all moved into my chard… 🙃
I think they started with my chard, then moved onto the dahlias and artichokes… 🙂
Is that what they call a ‘love bite?’ 😉
LOL!!! Could be eh?
Who nibbled that?? It looks like a rabbit bite to me…🐰
No – too high to be a rabbit (although I have several living right in the garden this year…) – more likely an earwig or some other insect.
