Oh! I was making a bit of a sideways comment about people who couldn’t appreciate the color gradients and such because of the “imperfection” in the petal. LikeLiked by 1 person
I wonder who did that? We have leaf-cutter bees here, but they go for leaves, not petals. LikeLiked by 1 person
I suspect an insect of some sort – earwigs have had a population explosion this year and I’ve seen them hiding within unfolding dahlia petals π¦ LikeLike
Earwigs were a nuisance here with some flowers and herbs in early summer too, but have now all moved into my chardβ¦ π LikeLiked by 1 person

No – too high to be a rabbit (although I have several living right in the garden this year…) – more likely an earwig or some other insect. LikeLiked by 1 person
