My grandfather had cattle, I always loved the hay bales.
I like the old fashioned, rectangular ones more, I think, but the round ones are very picturesque.
I especially like the glow of the second photo. Our fields are filled with hay just now, baled in the same way. For some reason, I’ve always enjoyed seeing it.
They’re like a faded, distant memory….
