These tulips are gorgeous on the early morning light…by mid afternoon, in full sun, they’re a bright fire engine red, with petals splayed wider than a Toulouse-Lautrec dancer’s legs…
That brought a laugh. I had one of those T-L posters in high school, and my mother wasn’t ever sure whether to let it stay, or not!
