Yes, it’s a chilly week here – the wood stove (prime heat source in winter at my house) has been burning since Monday! Sadly, it’ll be gone by Christmas day though – predictions are for above freezing temps day and night this coming weekend…

I’m surprised by that…there were so many jays screaming away earlier in the fall I expected these seeds to be gobbled up quickly.
