  2. I grew up with the spirea we called bridal wreath, and it’s one of the flowers whose fragrance I still remember. Many a bouquet was created from those flowers for my mother! The bushes were so prolific no one ever fussed about my plucking the flowers.

    1. Our bridal wreath spireas won’t bloom for a few more weeks – equally impressive, I think! This species is a bit more diminutive.
