Christmas must be closer than I realized. I had a sudden vision of these branches draped in strings of cranberry and popcorn.
LOL! To me they brought visions of tall ships’ sailing masts…. Interesting, those ‘branches’ are the remains, the skeleton, of that tree’s doubly compound leaf – they were covered with small leaflets in the summer.
Perspective is everything! I surely didn’t see them for what they actually were.
