I usually pay most attention to the flowers, because of my childhood delight in making ‘dolls’ from them, but I’d forgotten until I looked at the red flower how cute the seed packets are: fuzzy on the outside, efficiently packed inside!
I’m frequently amazed by the different shapes and sizes of seeds and packets produced by different plants. Part of the fun of seed collecting!
How lovely… a plant I love, but don’t grow… too much rust and Japanese beetles!
Rust yes, but not much this year so far. Japanese beetles…sshhhhhhh! Haven’t seen them… they’re in the County but haven’t ventured to my road….yet…
