We had a few inches earlier this week…nothing in the long range forecast…still dry but at least the rain barrels were filled!
I’m glad you finally got your rain barrels filled, at least, and I’m delighted by this color combination. My first memory of enjoying purple and orange together goes back to grade school. The first year I received some of those plastic eggs filled with candy, I loved mixing them up: pairing a pink half with yellow, and so on. I remember being especially pleased to put purple and orange halves together, and apparently the pleasure’s lingered!
There’s nothing like a deep rich purple and a deep rich orange, side by side. I envisage a full skirt in velvet on an animated Disney character dancing while Strauss is performed by an unseen orchestra…
…..all the Rain-dancing helped!
