  1. Of all the plants I wouldn’t have expected to see in your garden, this is near the top. I thought it grew only in watery locations, although I’ve never seen it growing (that I know of). I see yours is in a pot, so you may have been the source of its water. I just saw that it’s a cultivar; that might help to explain it. Anyway, the name ‘Prince Tut’ made me laugh!

    1. LOL!! I’ve grown King Tut, it’s much larger cousin, for years (as an annual of course) – they make a statement in, yes, a large pot with watering every day. This Prince Tut is a perfect size for this pot and spot.

  2. Cool, I’ve never seen one with seed heads before. Looks like this one is a few years old. I had one that I put in my small pond for a few years, bringing it inside in the winter, but it eventually got too big. I gave it away, I wonder if she still has it?

    1. I bought it at a nursery – the stalks were less than a foot high but it wad in a 1 gallon pot so possibly a year old? The seed heads Are interesting eh?!
