They’re so pretty. They remind me of dogwood flowers, although I’ve never seen dogwood, and seem to remember those flowers have fewer petals. The buds are charming!
They’re definitely reminiscent of pink dogwood flowers! I’m happy their roots must have found a water source this year…just a touch of rain barrel water from me kept them looking pretty great, albeit with shorter flower stalks than normal.

A neighbour – long since moved away – gave me a root one year…it’s grown since then but I don’t know the name….
