It’s always interesting to me to see how some of these frosted flowers still can feel warm and appealing.

What a lovely attitude to have towards the coming winter. Even the close-up that I converted to black and white exudes some warmth, I think…perhaps due to the early morning sunshine on the petals.

They are beautiful Chris. And a white frost is a nice end to the season for them, rather than just shrivelling up.

You’re so right Cathy – made them look like sugar frosted edible flowers for a day…right now they’re quite brown and shriveled, although there’s a light snow falling so perhaps the effect might wind up the same!
