  1. That looks cozier than I suppose it is, but at least it’s a bit more dry, and would help to conceal a little one from predators. Have you seen any tracks around it? Is that dark shape in the second photo a bunny, or just a larger patch of dirt and needles?

    1. The shape is just more dirt/needles. So Many rabbit tracks into and out of this hiding spat, but no coyote tracks (yet) that I can see. Really, the rabbits have created a bit of a highway through that part of the garden…:)

    1. I feel so sorry for them, despite how many of my spring-flowering shrubs don’t flower because rabbits eat the twigs back to the main stalk…the snow is so deep this year they’ve taken to eating the lower branches of cedars and spruce even…
