I didn’t realize these grow large enough to have those drooping stems. In that respect, they remind me of bleeding heart, or inland sea oats; the curved stems are perfect for displaying the flowers.
Although I regularly see deer near us, I haven’t noticed any on our property in recent years…but even a few decades ago when we first came out here and there were fewer houses on our road they left the Solomon Seal alone. May have preferred the hostas a short distance away…

They are, and makes it easier for bees to wiggle their way deep inside the flower!
A nice stand… do the deer not nibble on them? I have to spray Repels-All on mine.

Those look gorgeous! The ones I had have gradually disappeared.
