That Teasel has/had lots of flowers!
It does!
I’ve seen plenty of photos of teasel seed heads, especially in late autumn and winter, but I don’t remember ever seeing a photo that included the blooms. Neat photos!
Thanks! The individual flowers are so small…from a distance the whole thing looks like a smudge of purple pastel on paper.

They are stunning but a real threat to native meadows. I had to eradicate them from my meadow before they took over. But oh how beautiful.
So beautiful! I haven’t had a problem with them in the meadow or garden areas…just one or two patches that I can pull up or mow over.
Lovely! (But I hope you cut them before they go to seed….) 😉
Ha! They’re growing by the driveway so I just mow over most of them, letting one or two stand tall like this.
