This is one of the reasons I love the bright yellow glow of Goldenrod (Solidago sp.) and one of the reason I cut it back in early summer — to encourage late season flowers to help feed a multitude of pollinators. How many can you spot?

I was counting 10 or 11 ‘live on location’ so I imagine you’re right. ..the Copper butterfly got my attraction then I noticed everything else.

They look posed. When I featured goldenrod earlier, I thought that it was a weed to everyone else.
No, definitely not posed! I have it everywhere and “edit” it to suit specific micro gardens on the property.
